OVERVIEW OF PROGRAM

 

The emphasis of our Coed Preschool movement classes is on coordination development, achieved by a variety of activities with our adult, professional staff members.  Children will learn about their bodies and arm and leg coordination in our introductory song that starts each class.  Lesson plans will make use of all of the equipment at different times, with the children becoming comfortable with heights, dark places, being upside down, etc..  They will develop skills which will not only ready them to move along in the gymnastics program here at Arena, but these skills will also promote general good health and help prepare them for introduction into other sports in the future and build self-confidence.  Our youngest students, those 18 months to 3 1/2 years go in Mom & Me programs, with an adult going into class with them. Ages 3-5 (pre-K) go into class on their own with ample space in our waiting room for viewing.

FEES

$234.00 per 12 class session

All fees must be paid in full at time of registration and are non-refundable.

Open registration is available throughout the year with prorated fees.

Special events such as Camera Week, where parents are invited into the gym to take pictures or videotapes during class one week at the end of each session, and Bring-A-Friend Week when each child is invited to bring a friend to class to share in the gymnastic experience near the start of each session, are popular with everyone!
