The afterschool classes for girls are for children in Kindergarten and above.  The girls program will concentrate on the four gymnastics events for women—vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise.  EVERYONE will use the trampoline, tumble-trak, and foam pits!  As children move through the program, they will be working on skills that are appropriate to their age and current skill level.  At all levels, ARENA teaches and reinforces the importance of strong gymnastic basics.  ARENA also emphasizes self-respect, as well as respect for the sport, the instructors, and fellow students.  Our students take with them not only their personal achievements, but also a discipline that carries over into all aspects of their lives.  Arena’s low student to teacher ratio provides a significant amount of attention for each child with our adult, safety-certified instructors.

2007-2008 SESSION FEES

$414 per session for 45 min. classes  ~  $436.50 per session for 1 hr. classes  ~ $522 per session for 90 min. classes

All fees must be paid in full at time of registration and are non-refundable.

Open registration is available throughout the year with prorated fees.

 

Girls- Ages 5 (Kindergarten ) and up

 

(All students moving up from Preschool should register for one of the 45 minute classes)

**To register for this class, you must be evaluated and placed by the Girls Class Director

At the end of each 18 week session, parents are invited to come in the gym to observe their child in a class.  Non-flash photography and videotaping is allowed at this time, and instuctors will be available to briefly answer questions parents may have regarding their child.   At the end of each year, all students will receive a recommendation as to their appropriate placement for next season.
